The Festival of Lanterns takes place at the end of the Chinese New Year Celebration, on the fifteenth day of the first moon. These lanterns are signposts to guide guests and spirits of ancestors to the Lunar celebration. 这不刚写完作业，妈妈就开始给我提问英语单词了，我皱着眉头，左思右想，也仅仅答对了几个，当然少不了一顿批评，哎，还要接着背单词。

直到有一天，我突然发现有好多单词有相似的拼写，我把它们放在一起，很快就能掌握他们的意思，我像发现了新大陆一样，把这件事告诉了妈妈，妈妈说只要背会就行，这让我有点泄气，还以为她会表扬我一番。不过我发现我掌握单词的速度还有准确率有着明显的提高，妈妈也发现了我的进步，这让我得意了好久。哼，可恶的英语，我也找到了你的破绽。

我用着自己的方法去学习英语，每次考试成绩都会上一个台阶，看来英语也并没有那么难学啊。
